Privacy Policy

This policy explains what IQED collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers the IQED website, the IQED mobile app, and the free IQ assessment.

Because IQED is used by families, much of the data we handle relates to children. We treat it accordingly: a parent or guardian is the account holder, and we collect only what the product genuinely needs.

We collect a limited set of information, grouped by purpose:

• Account details you give us: parent name, email, phone and the child's grade.
• Assessment and learning data: answers, accuracy, timing and progress, used to build the cognitive profile.
• Device and usage data: app version, device type and basic analytics events, to keep the product working.
• Lead details you submit on forms for schools, franchise or contact enquiries.

We use the information above only to run and improve IQED:

• To generate your child's assessment report and personalise their learning.
• To send the reports, updates and tips you signed up for.
• To respond to schools, franchise and support enquiries.
• To improve our cognitive models, using aggregated and de-identified data wherever possible.

IQED follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR. As the account holder, you can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate IQED, under contract, and never for their own marketing.

Our website uses essential cookies to function and a small set of analytics cookies to understand which pages help families. You can refuse non-essential cookies without losing access to the assessment.

We use privacy-respecting analytics and do not run third-party advertising trackers in the app.

A child does not create their own IQED account: a parent or guardian does, and consents on the child's behalf. We collect a child's learning data solely to deliver the service to that family.

We never use a child's data for advertising, and a parent can request its deletion at any time.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it, logged, and reviewed. We retain personal data only as long as the account is active or as the law requires.
